       According to the market adjustment agency IDC, the sales volume of China's PC market in 2018 was approximately 53.18 million units, a decrease of 1.2% from the previous year.        IDC believes that in the consumer PC market, sales of high-performance thin and light notebooks will increase significantly in the next five years, in addition to gaming notebooks and ultra-thin notebooks that have performed brilliantly in recent years.

       The so-called high-performance thin and light, IDC defines two categories, one is the ultimate ultra-thin and thin, characterized by a thickness of no more than 15 mm, the second is a popular high-performance thin and light, the characteristics of the processor using AMD Ryzen 7/5 or IntelCore i7/i5, quad-core, thermal design power consumption does not exceed 35W, graphics card is at least AMD Radeon 525/Vega8, NVIDIA MX110, Intel Iris, with a touch screen of no more than 22 mm thickness, non-touch screen does not exceed 20 mm thickness.

       IDC pointed out that high-performance thin and light will be mainly targeted at "cross-scene adaptation" high demand groups: that emphasizes that a notebook can support work, learning, entertainment and many other scenes, and has excellent speed, high-quality Game entertainment experience, low power consumption long standby, thin and light portable and other products.

IDC expects that the ultra-thin and light-weight notebooks will account for only 9% in 2017 and will continue to grow in the future, reaching 27% in 2022. Popular high-performance lightweight notebooks will increase from 13% to 38% and become the mainstream choice.

       In addition, Volkswagen's high-performance light weight in the commercial notebook market will also exceed 40%.
