Laptop alphabetical keys but display digital

One of my colleagues, Xiao Wang, found me in a certain day that I had a strange problem. His QQ account could not log in, but he always suggested that the password was incorrect. However, he clearly stated that the password had not been changed. This was the first time he encountered this situation.        I used to look and found that he was using an HP laptop. The problem was very simple. It wasn't actually a password entry error. Instead, the alphanumeric keys of the laptop keypad were switched to numeric keys. The original password was changed when the letters were entered. Numbers so the password is incorrect.

The solution is to close the keypad, but because notebook manufacturers have different types of notebooks, the way to close and open the keypad is different, but it is almost always the Fn key + number lock key, or the Shift key + number lock key .

Here are a few common brand models of keyboard shortcuts: HP HP DV series Fn + Numlock keys (Num and Scroll on the same key); HP HP Compaq CQ series Fn + Scroll keys (F12 behind the one Key); DELL Dell Inspiron series Fn + F4 key (F4 key icon has a small lock in the lower right corner, the lock has a number 9, it is Num key); DELL Dell Vostro series Fn + Numlock key; Lenovo Thinkpad series Fn + NmLK Scroll Keys (top right, two functions together); Lenovo Rising Sun C Series Fn+ NmLK keys.

What if your notebook can't find the above keyboard keys?

NUM (NUMLOCK) on the keyboard means that the numeric keypad is locked. If you cannot find the NUM key, you can also try to find SCROLL. Many notebook manufacturers often set the NUM LOCK key and SCROLL (scroll bar lock) as a key, if not yet available. Refer to the user's manual of the notebook. The method of closing and opening the keypad is explicitly stated above, or you can directly call your notebook brand customer service to inquire.
