SAMSUNG RV411, RV412, RV415, RV420 these four notebooks use the same model of the keyboard. The method of disassembling the keyboard is the same. This article is about Samsung RV420.

       Disassemble tool preparation: screwdriver, new keyboard, tweezers, and soldering iron.

       Step 1: First remove all the screws on the top of the D shell. Samsung RV420 notebook C shell and keyboard are connected together. Therefore, to disassemble from the D shell, after the optical drive is removed, place the hand in the drive position, and lift the D case upwards.

       Step 2: After removing the optical drive and D case, remove the heat sink and the motherboard, and then remove the four screws fixing the screen.

       Step 3: After removing the screen axis, remove the screen.

       Step 4: Begin to tear down the notebook keyboard. The keyboard disassembly point is the red mark on the picture above. Use a dice to pick up a gap first, then slowly open it against the gap. (Note the intensity should be good control)

       Step 5: The place marked in red above is the lock of the Samsung RV420 notebook keyboard. These buttons will be automatically removed when you remove the notebook.

       Step 6: Replace with a new keyboard. When using a new keyboard, these locks should be spot welded with a soldering iron so that the keyboard and keyboard frame can be fixed together.

       Step 7: Reassemble the Samsung RV420 notebook back by following the reverse steps above.
